What Are We Trying to Accomplish?

Genius Hour is an opportunity to research subjects that interest us and that we are passionate about. It acts as a more open-ended learning style that stimulates interest and enthusiasm for learning and revolves around your questions about a particular subject. For our topic, we chose to research Physics Simulations, we have various questions we seek to answer.

  • How do these simulations handle collision between objects?
  • What are the current limitations of these simulations?
  • How can we develop smart sensors to adapt and optimize their real-time performance using machine learning and data analytics?

We think that working on this project will allow us to use our imaginations, be creative, and learn more about a subject that interests us. Ultimately, we are excited to follow this project's progress and see what we can learn from it.

Why Physics Simulations?

Connection to World

We felt that there were a lot of physical simulation applications in the real world that we could explore and learn about.

Connection to Course

We also realized that almost all of the course's concepts could be applied and explored concerning these simulations.

Connection to Passion

We were excited about the potential to create our own website with multiple physics simulations using our knowledge in programming.
